Pale people everywhere I may have the solution to your foundation worries!

Introducing... Gosh x-ceptional wear foundation in 11 porcelain

I asked the lovely lady in Superdrug if she could reccomend any pale foundations as I was getting fed up of my low coverage L'Oreal true match. She suggested Gosh, saying that they specially design their foundations for paler people (which to be honest I haven't heard anywhere else, but it may be true)

So I tried it and it's actually really rather pale

I'll include a swatch when my camera has charged

and it has medium to full coverage which is a definite plus as I have previously had to either mix y foundations or dilute them with moisturizer which can really reduce the coverage and it's nice to look flawless once in a while.

the colour is definitely yellowey, which is perfect for me as my skin constantly looks slightly jaundice but it means it wouldn't be a very good match for someone with pink tones

But at £7.99 certainly try it out if you're one of the more ghostly of our population, you may be pleasantly suprised

Spring Summer haul

JOB

So guess what, the day after I handed out my CV I got an interview with a little bakery where I live and I've got a four week trial! Everyone seems really lovely so I'm really excited, and hopefully I'll have enough money to go to Ibiza next year

Shopping and job applications

Today I went out with a couple of friends with the intention to hand out a couple of my CV's in the hope of getting a job and sorting out my slight poorness problem, but instead I discovered there was miraculously some money in my account and I shopped...
But I bought a beautiful dress that I'd actually had my eye on in orange from Topshop, however I got it in green because I couldn't see the orange one anywhere.
I even got an additional 10% off making it £17.10 reduced from £38. seriously check out the sale in Topshop
I also managed to hand my CV into a few shops at the end so fingers crossed I might have an actual income soon!

I've also filmed a collective haul which I will probably put up tomorrow if I have time

SUN

Gosh it is hot!

I am literally dying and in severe need of aftersun

sunburn is clearly an issue for ginger type skin tones

Also I am feeling really sick and have been rather off my food. Although I have had two ice lollies today... perhaps that explains why

I really must sell my clothes on ebay soon. I am in dire need of an income.

I've decided that I am going to film a couple of videos regarding sun damage, because I feel that sometimes people do not realise the extent that they are damaging themselves by over exposing not just their skin but their hair to the sun.

I hope maybe it could be useful to somebody

Festival Makeup

And again with the awful thumbnails!!

Will I ever be attractive? I think not :(

So this is the start of a little series of videos I'm doing on festivals.

I'll probably do a couple more but I haven't quite decided which ones yet.

This is my take on what to bring to a festival makeup wise. If you personally like to be a bit more outrageous with your makeup because you are at a festival then of course take more, or even less if you aren't a makeup person. This however applies to the majority of girls, in my oppinion.

I feel like a child

Today was a good day for Jay.
She had a productive day at school and worked on her art powerpoint
then she went to her boyfriends house and watched loads of sons of anarchy
And she was given two llama badges on deviant art today :D

And to top it off on the way home she found a my little pony outside a pub on the way home.
They're ugly now :( they used to be really pretty but now they have huge heads
This makes her sad and hopes she didn't get rid of her ponies because they were much better
She also wishes she had a unicorn one

Hair, camera, and update

Elii came round yesterday so I could dread some of her hair.
I was planning on filming a video about it, like a how to, but I've lost it.
NO idea where it's gone! I haven't seen it before download : / so gutted for me
Which is one reason I haven't made any videos.
Another is that I was really sunburnt and my face was peeling.
however that did give me the opportunity to learn all sorts about covering up sunburn and stuff which I can talk about

Anniversary

Today was my one year anniversary with my boyfriend!
I got him a watch and I searched for ages for the perfect one before coming to the conclusion that all watches are the same :P

But I was very happy with the one I got, it was from a little jewellery shop where I live and it was a sekonda.

I also got him a Ralph Lauren aftershave in a blue bottle... can't remember what it's called.

and he got me the most gorgeous shoes ever. I'll post a picture later

It was brilliant despite us having school and me being shattered from download.
We went to a place called Strada and I had the loveliest pizza, and the best time.

it was very good!!!

we went on Wednesday and my bag was so heavy!! It totally wasn't just food and booze...

And someone, me, went and somehow got the wrong train ticket! And I literally have no money at all so I had only brought about twenty quid and I had to change my tickets so I only had about three pounds for the entire weekend :/

But it was okay, my friend Elii was lovely and paid for me to get a henna tattoo

We camped right on the corner of blue going into red. You can actually see our tent in the photos which I thought was well cool.

wednesday and thursday were on the same boring level as thursday at leeds fest, so I actually ended up sleeping a lot.

And there were stalls selling gas masks! If anyone knows me, you know that must have been my worst nightmare, however throughout the weekend I didn't see more than three people wearing them.

These were the bands we saw. I actually had to look at Elii's list cos for some reason I couldn't remember

Children of Bodom and Pendulum were deffinately the best of Friday for me, despite not making it through Pendulum again :( My friend had a panic attack so I was pulled out again. Just like last time :( I think Pendulum and I are not meant to be. I also really like Korn now.

Best day for me music wise, however I got sunstroke. Typical me. So I was rather delirious and spent the majority of the day continuously passing out against a barrier for the main stage. I got up and got quite close to the front for Hollywood Undead. No more on that other than I loved it.

Everyday makeup

So today I thought I'd get a reasonable amount of videos done, but oh no! My mistake for using something new to edit my videos.
I officially hate Premiere elements. Never again!!! Photoshop elements is brilliant, I've used both the usual Photoshop and elements and found that elements is pretty good, just being at a lower level than Photoshop. And with a completely different layout which is is confusing at first. At least, it was for me.
But Premiere elements is a complete waste of time, I genuinely prefer Movie Maker.

Anyway rant over, here's my everyday makeup routine.

EXAMS

I have legitimately hated the past two weeks, and am very thankful that I only took two exam subjects. Although my art and photography coursework was due in on Monday which was a nightmare as I am so disorganised
And in my philosophy I completely messed everything up and wrote the entire first half about the wrong theory, so I can't have got a single mark
...Will be retaking that next year :(

But since all that rubbish is out the way I can start making videos more often which is good

I'm sick of my hair not being the colour I want it to :(
and to make it worse when the lilac washes out I'm still left with mint green hair after it being turquoise

Recently I've been trying out different brands of hair dye trying to find one that lasts more than a couple of washes

Food

We went to Frankie and Bennys for no reason.
The pancakes were a whole new level of nice!

Hair

So I went with a couple of friends to our friends house for a night in.
My hair's a dead funny colour, I mixed all the remainder of dyes I had together and it came out this colour.
I'm not particuarly thrilled with it but I really wanted to escape fro blonde and I literally have no money.

Concert

My friend and I went to go and see Jason Derulo. I personally am not a fan, but she had a spare ticket and nobody to go with so I stepped up to save the day :P
Before we went we went shopping which was nice as I hadnt seen her in a while.

I tried to dye my hair back to ginger, but its not as vibrant as it was before and I'm not happy with it.
We went out again to celebrate three of our friends birthdays.

Meal out

We went to our local Pizza express to celebrate one of our friends birthday's.
It didn't end well. to cut a long story short our waitress stole some of our money. I counted the money and we had more than enough before hand, but of course the management didn't believe a group of teenagers so the girl who's birthday it was had to fork out the extra money as no one else had come out with a lot extra.

Just to give you an idea of my height, my friend isn't particuarly tall.
